SPORTS MEDICINE KELLY

Hello! My name is Kelly Trust and I am a Certified Athletic Trainer based out of Smyrna, Georgia. I graduated from BYU with a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training. Working with D1 level athletes at BYU in Track and Field, Volleyball, Basketball, and Football inspired me to continue working in my field after graduating. I started in Utah with a couple of Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine that focused on nonsurgical approaches to musculoskeletal injuries but later moved to Georgia and worked for a shoulder and elbow specialist that performed anywhere from a total shoulder replacement to a basic in-office joint injection. After beginning my career in bodybuilding, I shifted my focus to helping anyone seeking to improve their physical well-being in and out of the gym. By working out of my sunroom and a nearby studio, I have created a space for healing and progress towards your physical and health-related goals.

Through evaluation of musculoskeletal injuries, manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, stretching, and prescribing the proper maintenance of those injuries, I am able to provide my clients improved range of motion and help reduce pain. Coaching is a second passion of mine that I picked up through my own career in bodybuilding and powerlifting.

My mission is to help you reach your health and fitness related goals. After spending 5 years actively participating and helping others in bodybuilding, I have developed a wide range of knowledge of the sport. Beginning with utilizing the skills that my degree gave me, I continued to collect the proper formula for refining the physique of an athlete. From basic nutrition and weight-lifting guidance to full competition prep and intense physical therapy for injuries, I have a full scope of tips and tricks to share with my clients.

I am a firm believer that the more we learn about ourselves, the more we are able to help those around us. I have spent years trying to find the do’s and don’t’s of the fitness world so that you can spend less time with the nonsense and more time with the logical and individually-based programming that will lead you to your goals faster. I am your guide to a better version of yourself!
